Default Oil everywhere

Oil everywhere
After sitting for sometime, I charged my battery and put new fuel in my 2000 300 4x4 and took it for a burn, much to my surprise I left a very nasty trail of oil, like an extraordinary amount, so by the time I realized it, I brought in into the garage and started looking. There is a rubber vent hose that it was spraying out of. This hose goes up toward the gas tank, loops around, goes back into the air box and into the top of the motor. So I cleaned everything up and don't really understand the problem. Any help? Please, would be much appreciated.

Thats your crankcase vent tube, 3 ways I have seen the air box geat oil in them. If the ATV had to much oil added to it,if the ATV was tipped on its side and even lots of steep hill riding can cause it.

May want to check your engine oil and see if fuel is mixed with the oil from carb float value bypassing! My want smell of oil to see if it smells like fuel! This would make oil level to high an when engine is running the cankshaft moving will push oil out everywhere!
