Default Need help with snorkel etc.

hey guys i just bought my first utility atv its an 02' arctic cat 500 4x4 semi-automatic with irs its dead stock besides the jets i want to set it up for mud i would like to lift it 2 inches and get some tires with alot more meat (mine are stock) not sure what size yet probably 30's if anyone knows how to snorkel this thing i'd appreciate the advice if rad relocation isn't real hard i'd like to do that it looks like it would get clogged easy where its at, also will i need to change cv axles when i lift it thanks in advance i'm pretty mechanically inclined so anything you think would be helpful or make my rig more fun i'm all ears

With only 500cc's pushing it, I wouldn't go any bigger than 27" with an aggressive mud tire, and even then you will notice a big loss in power.

With a 2" lift you should have just about the right amount of clearance for 26-27's. If you're gonna mud it, relocating the radiator is a very wise choice, as is coating all electrical connections with dielectric grease

I would upgrade the exhaust and air filter, and do a rejet depending on how much your snorkel restricts the airflow.
