Default headlight replacement

Both the headlight assem. are shot on my 02' 500.
Instead of springing for new ones Does anyone know If I could use the power source for another 12 volt light?
What I am wondering if the halogen amp requirement is not enough or too much for a 3" sealed beam utility light.
thanks.

You could go to Walmart and see about mounting up a round Halogen driving light/fog light set up for Hi/ Lo beam, those are pretty cheap. The HID kits require you to use your old light assembly, if yours is shot, that would not work for you. Rigid Industries makes a square ultra bright LED light that puts out an amazing amount of light, way brighter than stock, almost as good as HID without all the ballasts and other stuff you need to wire up. It depends on how much you want to spend and how good you are at fabbing up mounts for an aftermarket set up.
