Posting this question for a friend
He wants to know if the muffler of a 2007 700, would fit onto his 2005 500. I guess the muffler thats of the 500 an there is a local guy that has one from a 700

The guy is trying to buy an HMF exhaust for a 2007 700. The guy that is selling it doesn't know if it will fit his 2005 500.

 

probably the quickest way to answer would be to look at the manufacturers website and compare model numbers....if the model number for the 700 exhaust is the same number for the 500, it will fit....probably not the same though, and I doubt the mounting tabs are the same for the different models.

Guess you could always take pipe and muffler to an exhaust place and have them expand the pipe to fit the diameter of the muffler
