hi new to the site but heres my problemi am looking at an arctic cat 650 that a person is selling off craigslist, the bike is in pieces, the motor is out of the frame and the heads are taken off, the peraon is selling it to me for 500 with almost everything except front diff and front axle.

so heres my question, is it common for the trannsmission to go out on these guys since i wont be able to turn it.

first arctic cat ive ever considered buying, ive owned hondas up till now. if anybody could help me or give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it

 

i have been on here for a long time and haven't ever heard of tranny trouble. i myself had an 04 650 v2 and it was a great machine. i put big tires on it with a clutch kit and cdi and playing in the mud all the time and never had any problems with it.
