Hi everyone, I just joined and I'm hoping that someone will be able to help me. I recently picked up a '03 250 ac 4x4, the owner before me hooked up some sort of sprayer to the battery and fried a bunch of ground wires and the machine lost spark. I have rewired it according to the wiring diagram in the manual and have replaced the voltage regulator. Now here is my problem, everything ohms out good, but when I check for voltage on the blue/white wire for the coil it is a dead short to ground?? If I unplug the cdi box it stops the short. Do I need a new cdi box? Sorry for the long post, just wanted to give as much info as possible. Thanks everyone. Justin

 

Does anyone know if the 300openings and the 250 cdi boxes are interchangeable? Or does anyone have a cdi for a 250 they want to get rid of? Thanks.
