hello everyone. one of my friends has the chance to get a 96 bearcat for 300 usd it has an oil leak and were not sure where its coming from. because of the snow in the north country we cant really get a good look at the bottom. is this a common problem for these bikes and is it worth the 300 its supposed to run perfect.

Im not sure if the oil leak is common, but for $300 if it runs good and just has an oil leak, that sounds like a steal. I think it would have to be worth buying for that price.

My suzuki had an oil leak at one of the driveshaft yokes where it went into the engie. The Arctic Cat has a Suzuki engine, so its possible that is the problem. Either way, it shouldnt be too big a deal to fix no matter where it is leaking.

I would buy it for that if it were me
