Default 2008 artic cat trv 500 cvt belt

Hi, I have this machine and have had no issues at all with this machine. I have about 1700 miles on it and bought it new. I priced the belt from artic cat for 220. Is there any other belts that meet or exceed the quality of the belt? It still working and not sure if i even need to replace it, just asking. I want to replace it though lol

I stick to OEM on my ATV because the belt is only $70.
On my sleds I have good luck with Dayco belts and my sleds are in the 100 to 145hp range.

Your OEM Part Number is 3402-757 and Dayco makes a replacement belt for $78 and this site has them for $33. HP2032-W1 - Arctic Cat High Performance ATV Belt. Fits many 02 & newer models. | ATV Parts | MFG Supply

Same width and length (HP2032) as your stock belt if you do the conversion.Dayco - HP (high performance) ATV belt

The HP belts are tuff. My polaris 500XC with 98hp has been running one for 3 winters now.

The OEM can be ridiculous vs aftermarket. My OEM bentix drive at my dealer was $220 and I bought a aftermarket for $70.
My Dealer wanted $320 for a rad fan, I bought the same make and model fan (Spal) New from ebay for $85.

ATV companies does not make Belts . They have a company like Dayco,Gates,Carlisle or Goodyear who acually make belt make them for them.

Same goes with tires, spark plugs, oil and filters.

You do not need to go to a dealer for OEM. Online places sell OEM but its still not cheap. The only aftermarket belt I had no luck with on ATV or sled was a Goodyear GatorBack.
