i just wanted to know how you guys from up north can stand the cold weather. here in texas it is 50 degrees and raining like a tall cow peeing in a spoon. it is supposed to be clear this weekend and that does open doors for some good muddin' but the cold weather absolutely sucks. i know during the summer i'll be complaining when its 110 degrees in the shade. why can't we have a happy medium in texas? its got to be freezing cold or blistering hot.

I know what you mean about it being either hot or cold in texas. I used to live in San Antonio. I got tired of the hot so now i am where it is cold all the time. Last week it was -20 for a few days, but now it has warmed up to 25 and is f***king SNOWING!!!!! i will go nuts before i get to ride in the mud again. But we are getting allot more daylight now so it has to melt soon, i hope.In the mean time the snow will have to do. Have fun in the mud for all us poor people in the north.

I said this one a while back but in Texas El Nino/La Nina is the only way to go. 70 and sunny all the time in the winter the last 4-5 years. This year has just been miserasble but I have enjoyed a couple of beautiful weekends of mud riding. Hang in there guys!!!

TEXASCAT & DAKOTART:
Hey fellas I know it has been lousy weather this winter, but at least we got all of our water replinished. Someone give me some more info on the camping trip in April. The dates sound good to me, but I'm a good 2 hours from Austin.

you are exactly 125 miles from where i live in la grange which is approx. 52 miles from hwy 111. you have to ask dakotart how far the acreage is from the intersection of hwy 77 and 111. my guess is another 10 to 15 minutes. (dakotart: is the acreage before the road construction project slated to be completed sometime in early 2050?)

what would probably be the best plan of action is you and i meet in lagrange then follow each other down to schulenburg where dakotart, coming in on IH10, could then meet us. that's my plan anyway.
