DakotaRT, temps here might also be upwards of 105 in August. Hopefully not, but it's always possible. August is too far away for me to make a solid committment but I'd certainly like to get together for a ride over a weekend.

Maybe 105 but the Humidity isn't 95% like Texas. It makes a world of difference, believe me.

Minehunter is right about the Texas humidity. I won't be able to pull my underwaer out of my butt from April till November. When I visit friends in Amarillo it is still 95-100 outside but it doesn't feel anywhere near as bad. I don't care how hot it gets I need a vacation and I want to see Utah and a few other places along the way. Thanks and keep me posted please!

I know too well about that humidity stuff dakotart. I used to live right on down the interstate from San Antonio. I lived in Ingleside which is just outside of Corpus. I got out of Texas as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Don't get me wrong the people are great, but I couldn't handle that humidity and heat together. Being a transplanted westerner I had to get back to that low humidity, and real winters.
