Default different shifter for AC 300?

Has anyone changed or modded the heel to toe shifter on their ac 300 4x4 or KQ 300? I bought on efor my nephew I think it just too much a pain in the *** and would like to put on a regular toe shifter.

The King Quad 300 has the normal toe shifter. I never liked the heel toe shifter on my Arctic Cat 300 either. Im sure you could change it over, but you will probably have to get a little creative with making it work. I read somewhere that Arctic Cat offered a toe shifter for sell as an option, but have never seen one.

I think you would have to change the full floorboard to use a toe only shifter. Pretty sure that is why they went with the rocker shifter.

I've got a '96 King Quad 300 with the toe shifter. I made a handle extension to come up below the seat. This allows me to shift when it is hung up on a log or under water but also when I have a passenger on and the ergo's aren't great to use the toe portion to upshift. This doesn't affect the factory positioning, but just gives me another option.
