My 2005 Arctic Cat 500 started leaking fuel from the top right hand side of the carb. It looks and feels that the fuel is coming from under the throttle cable housing area just above the primer pump. I have not had time to take carb off. Has anyone had a leak on this side and area of their carb?

 

Dry it off, then take another look. It's often the primer itself thats leaking....or the fuel line. If I remember correctly, the primer can be eleminated and the "in" fuel line can be re-routed.

 

the leak seems to be higher just above the primer rod. it could be the fuel line has a small leak. today the primer pump was not as strong as it has been. i have to use the primer pump several times before i start the motor. this atv does not get used much around the farm and sets for two or three weeks at a time.
