2006 Arctic Cat 450 4 wheeler belt and clutch questions
#1
I have a 2006 AC 400 that needs a new belt and possibly a new clutch.
Im new to working on 4 wheelers but very mechanically inclined with cars/trucks etc.
Do i need to purchase all new clutch parts or is there a "clutch rebuild kit"?
Any tips/advice?
The belt is obliterated so def needs a new one.
Where can i find parts for this 4 wheeler?
Thanks

How can i tell what model ATv that i have?
Its red and black 4X4 (automatic i think? it has the lever on the left side with low, high, neutral and reverse).
TRV?
FIS LE?
FIS AUTO?
Or will any of the 400 belts fit?

According to some on an Arctic Cat forum the 17 digit vin number is located on the frame just above the rear tire. 10th digit is the year model.ATV Vin Number : Check and Decode Your VIN

I believe the FIS has something to do with the suspension, tho I'm not 100 % sure. The TRV is a 2 passenger, LE just stands for Limited Edition ( wheels, colors, graphics ), Auto means no gears to shift ( has hand shifter, high, low, reverse..etc )...belt drive. Any of the 400 CC class belts will work....
