Never ran into that , a insurance company that cares what brand or model a Machine of any king is.
Was this online? If so get a human on the phone.

Try the company that insures your automobile, and yes, talk to a human, before they become obsolete, haha.

Sometimes you do actually have to talk to a person. I know you can do a lot of things online but every time I have added a new vehicle to my policy, I did it in person in their office. I have Allstate myself. I realize some companies don't have local offices but they do have human representatives you can talk to on the phone.

I insure my 2015 Xr 700 through State Farm. Have basically every coverage under the sun for $185 a year. I even made sure there was a clause if I dropped my bike in the lake when I ride on the ice in the winters that they would replace it.

Wow that one is unusual..... usually frozen lakes are no coverage... I have progressive on my SxS but also used a live person to get ins. Never had any success using online crap, need to have a live person do the work to be sure it is right, then if something goes wrong you have someone to go to.

@Kymco,

I've gotten that with both insurance companies I have used. They have it written down in the office as part of the coverage. I can't complain with State Farm with ATV insurance. As far as car insurance, stay far away. Premiums are crazy. For example they wanted $2700 for the year to insure my 2014 Corvette. Liberty Mutual was $1550 roughly.

A lot depends on the area in which you live, insurance rates change drastically in different parts of the country. State Farm is very popular in my area as a cheaper alternative but Geico is terribly high. Have no use for Allstate, a number of years back their driver (old woman) ran a red light and hit my son on a bicycle, had 7 witnesses, they refused to pay the claim for more than 18 months saying my son was at fault???? We were forced to take them to court and hire an attorney to get his medical bills paid, in the court room they admitted to gilt and paid the bils but I was out the attorney fees. Have heard numerous stories similar so I stay clear of them. Progressive has been good auto insurance but hate the fact that Goe. Sorross is the owner and using the profits for bad deeds against this country. Insurance is all politics just like the gov't, never mind what is fair for the people just what is good for our bottom lines...

It's funny that you mention this, I had to get insurance to get the loan for the Thundercat, and they told me the same thing... "Sir, this VIN number you have provided isn't accurate..." Eventually they just typed it in anyway. I guess it wasn't verifying or something.

I've got mine thru Allstate and had no issues with them finding AC. Their database is the same no matter what state your in, it's a company wide shared database. Kymco is correct... the rates are different, that's it.
But regardless... I just noticed that the OP was a few months old... so question now is, did you get the issue resolved?
