Trying to remove the old rotor on my 2003 artic cat 4x4 auto. I'm upgrading to the new style. Well I can't get the rotor all the way off. I did by the proper puller when I got the kit..I was afraid that i was going to damage the end of the crank shaft. Which I might have. I had to walk away before I set it on fire! The fly wheel did finally start to budge. But only about half way.. any help would be appreciated. UPDATE..... THE ROTOR IS STILL STUCK ! First I'm not claiming to be a professional wrench Turner. However, I do have a shop and have rebuilt plenty of boat engines along with always working on my Harley. However, this little task of taking the old rotor off has beaten me do far.. it is up here at my cabin so I have been limited on the resources. But this trip I brought the heavy guns. Impact gun sockets, torches and any other stuff that I could think of to win this battle. But even with the tools it's still not coming off. It has moved around 3/4" so far. Which looking at the new one I bought. That is pretty close to coming off.. I have bought the proper puller. I have heated the outer part of the part that goes around the crank shaft to almost red hot. Then put the puller on and I gave it some short bursts with the impact. First time i did it the thing did slide alittle. But not now.. I'm afraid to go any harder because i dont want to break the shaft. Another thing i did was to once again heat it up. Put the impact on it until its tight. Then I took a mallet and hit all around it. Thinking that might help spring it. I looked and it doesnt seem to be crooked on the shaft. I also have used PBS blaster on it many times and let it sit.. my next step is probably going to take my little air grinder with a small cutting wheel and cut through the channel where the key fits. Just so I dont screw up the threads. But before I do that. I thought that I would see if anyone else has some ideas.. thanks...

Reason: Update status
i would use the puller and a cutting torch to heat the hub. TRY not to over heat the shaft. The theory is the hub will expand and release form the shaft.
