jumping+350lb texascat=broken plastic

what can i say i'm a big mf'er and my front suspension is designed to handle only so much. is there anything i can do to avoid breaking any more plastic and popping rivets besides the obvious preventative measures such as weight loss, abstaining from jumping, and lift kits. oh yeah, just to let you guys know i'm presently on a self-composed program of losing weight because the combined weight of my cat and myself is 1000 lbs. one thing is for sure, i have a damn good amount of traction.

Alright I was there those I'll take a shot on this one. We suck at landing!!! I landed hard on the front and TEXASCAT landed right front wheel first! Like he said 1000 lbs on one wheel and I'm not far behind at 280 Lbs. You have seen the pics and video on my web sight and we've gotten those cats pretty high but the landings were smooth and on all four wheels. Huge difference. We just need more practice, hint, hint. I'm considereing the spacer trick. if it works I'll make you some!

You don't have to make them you can buy them from your dealer and that is what they're called spring spacers. They cost 89 cents each I have 2 on each spring and I dont get any tire rub anymore, even when me & the wife ride together over rough trails. You can also cut the lip of the front fender that sticks out I used A grinder to remove mine, can't tell it unless you know what to look for. I looked for a long time for a way to make my spacers, and couldn't find what I wanted. But for the price I figured I couldn't go wrong and it was just as cheap.

I to have titan 589 and they are a great tire.I went with the 3/8" home made spacer in the front and the 1/2" in the rear.I work in a Canadian Navy work shop for sub repair so I made mine out of teflon stock.I wish I had known about the AC washer it would be easier thats for sure.I think this is the best mod after the winch.
By the way I just finished my 8th oil change after I played submarine with my 500,all seems good so far.I did not drive it home but got towed by a honda,he did not attempt the crossing.I did 2 changes with out running the bike and then each change after I would run the bike a little longer,up to 3 min.I now have 1500 miles and going strong.
