I just got my son A 250 4x4, and it is great. If I had rode A 300 before I got mine, I might have gotten one. They look like they are light in the front end but they aren't. Real quiet, great ride, low geared ( in super low ), lockable front end, easy to steer, and pretty peppy for A 250. I don't think there is A better choice out there richt now. My son is 10 he has been riding A Yamaha Breeze ( another super bike for its size )since age 6, so he can ride pretty good. He has no problem keeping up with us and we ride some pretty tough trails. I do recomend the 2-4 wheel drive kit for it though.I paid $3849 out the door with 2 year warranty. but that was the 4th atv I had sold for my dealer in A month, I had just bought my 500 auto 2 weeks before.

Hi I have a 2000 250 2x4. So far I love it. I am 6ft. 210 lbs and it does fine for the light trail riding and hunting I do. This past Saturday night I took my 2 oldest boys to the local dirt track Stock car races... what did they have out there push starting race cars???? Yep a Cat... 250 2x4. I was amazed that it would do it. on wet dirt with stock tires. I was impressed.
