Mud tires
#2
I would go with either Mud Bugs or 589s. They are both a good mud tire without effecting the overall performance too much. The Mud Bugs might be better for out of mud performance because of there lighter weight. You might also want to consider GoodYear Mud Runners. They are fairly good in mud with a tread that isn't as likely to be overly grippy when not in mud. They are a good bit more expensive tho.
As for tug-of-war comps. IT depends on the terain. ON hard pack I would run the Stock tires with about 4-5 psi in them. IN mud, I would run 25/26x12x12 Outlaws.

the 589's are good tires, i just put a set on my machine and what a difference it makes. i like to make trails as i go and these tires are perfect for mowing over stuff and the go incredibly well in the mud. the 589's make blackwaters look like stock tires. later - dana
