Last month I found a good deal on a pair of 26x12x12 Maxxis Mud Bugs and decided to put them on the front of my AC500. I'm now running 26x12x12s on all 4 corners. As soon as I put them on, it stopped raining. It hasn't rained in 34 days. The crops are in pretty bad shape, and all the mud holes are gone. I managed to get the only mud hole I found on video. I posted a couple of video caps and a picture of my AC500 incase you ever wondered what it would look like sitting on four 26x12x12s. I also installed a set of spring spacers.(1/4" on the front, 1/2" on the rear springs)
Here's a link to the pics

Hey man, nice pics! Wish I had some good ones in the mud-hopefully after this elk season though... 'Cat looks great, and I liked that one of the two kitties playing together!

Best of Luck, hope it rains soon!

Mike

Don't feel bad. We haven't had any amount of rain in 2 months and the woods are now closed. We can't ride period!!! I have 2 Quads and at the moment all they're good for is paper weights!!! PLEEEEEEASE make it rain!!!! The rally season is on but they have to cancel because of the woods being closed. Sucks big time man. At least you can drive your quad mud or no mud.

Gerr,

Looks like you have no trouble at all spining your tires. What gear you running in normally? Did you use spacers up front?? Any future mods planned??

Hey Boner,

The spinning tires in the video caps(blurry pics in the mud) were in 1st gear high.
I should have had it in low...never know how deep it can get until you're in it and it's too late.
The one in the sand was 2nd high. I had it in 2 wheel drive in the sand.
I did put 1/4" spacers up front, and 1/2" in back.
And KindSambo from Nova Scotia, I spoke too soon. We just had some rain. It should be headed your way by tomorrow or later today!

I'am here in Southern Indiana and we have had to much rain and it always here lately seems to rain on the weekends. The mudholes we have here are turning into small lakes and will have to be named pretty soon. I will send some rain/mud up north. Chet

Well thanks allot Chet:-)... it has been dry here w/ occasional rain (just not enough to catch us up) UNTIL Tuesday night... we got 5 inches Tuesday night and 6 inches last night (WEdnesday.) The only down side is that I don't have time to ride till this weekend, and will be at Haspins then. Don't know what kind of weather they have been having.
