I'm going to buy some chrome rims for my 2002 model 500i Manual. I think the bolt pattern is 4/115. Is this correct? Also what is the difference between 4/115 and 4/110? I would also like to buy center caps and lug nuts with my rims. Will center caps and lug nuts designed for 4/110 work with 4/115 rims? Thanks for the help.

PS: I should be getting my 500i in the next few weeks, so the dealer says.

OK, I'm gonna take a SWAG at this one-(scientific wild _ss guess)
the "4" signifies 4 studs, or bolts per wheel, while the "115" is the distance between each bolt, or stud-I believe in millimeters. If this is true, yes I believe you are correct that the 'Cats are a 4/115 pattern, and NO, the 4/110 will not work. As long as you stick with 'Cat style lug nuts, it won't matter if they're 110 or 115 because the studs should all be the same size, just the 110's are closer together than the 115's. Sticking with this theory, I would imagine that NO, the center cap would not fit going from a 110, to a 115. My guess is that the 110 center cap would be smaller, and not fit entirely snug inside the 115, remaining loose, and have some slop. The 115 then would not fit at all inside the 110. Again, this is just my guess, I don't know for sure. I would say that whereever you order your wheels, just tell them you want rims and center caps to match, they'll hook you up with all the right materials, simple as that.

Best of Luck, and show us some picts of the new machine when you get it!

Mike

Thanks for the help Cowboy. I was thinking the same thing but I wasn't really sure. What would you recommend for chrome and black rims? I checked with ITP about their "D" series and they don't have center caps or lugs nuts for the 4/115 bolt pattern, atleast not for the cat. So what other manufacturers should I check out?

When I get my cat all done up I'll compare it to my old quad side by side, it should look awesome. I'll post the pictures when I get them. Thanks for the input.
