web page is up and running again

For those of you who ride with me or follow my web page and the many pics and movies I have on it this is for you. I just added my last couple of adventures with my folks and Texascat. If you want to see what 1/2 a ton looks like flying through the air then you have to check it out. I've got movies of the front diff working, lots of mud, tons of awkward stucks, and some fast stuff to go with some mild to wild jumps. I have rides planned for the next couple of weeks too so stayed tuned. Good luck to all you new guys out there. I am very jealous of those new Cats!

Great new pics! That one of "Mom" coming up that hill with a big smile on her face is great! That's awesome your parents get involved with the riding too, glad to see it. I get my Dad out occassionally, but again, he's a lot more "reserved" in what he'll do compared to the extremes I'll risk-guess that comes with age eh? Mom on the other hand-hell, she's scared to death to have to sit on the thing with the engine off-may take a bit of work with her, don't know if it's even worth trying. Oh well, don't want her scaring herself for no reason, she just doesn't realize the fun she's missing.
I tried to look at your videos, but it said there was an "error", something about a "suitable decompression could not be found"-whatever that means. Anyway, I couldn't see them, but the pictures of you and TexasCat were great! I'd still love to come ride with you guys sometime, but will have to get a job first and save up the money in the meantime!
Best of Luck guys,
Mike

I had the same problem the other day on one of the school computers. The quicktime movies are finiky sometimes. If you right click on the link and choose "save target as" you can download it to the HD and open it up using windows media player. I'm looking into it. You may have to be running a version 5 of Quicktime to play them accurately. It's a free download. My folks have to enjoy riding, it's their land and the 400 cat is theirs. Hell they bought a cat before I did.
Mike you are always welcome down here. Texascat and I have commented that you are just a miss placed Texan. Forget driving down here. I'll loan you a Cat to play on. Hell I might just go buy another one to celebrate and have three around here. That new 375 sounds good but a 400 or 500i would be sweet! oh well, Wish in one hand and poop in the other and see which one fills up first.

They came up in windows media player, but then said something about that unsuitable decompression or whatever that means. Anyway, I couldn't get it to work. I'll try again tomorrow probably-in a huge hurry to get these 12 different job applications finished so I can mail in to the forest service-each one is about 9 pages long! I haven't written this much since english class my sophmore year, my arm is cramping up!
As for the offer, my most sincere THANK YOU to both of you guys! While that offer to use one of your machines is definately most gracious and above and beyond the call of duty, I just don't think it would be the same without my kitty down there. I'm affraid I'd not sleep at night, hearing her growling at me all the way back home, 'Clawing around the garage trying to escape and find her way down there-with my luck, she'd be run over by a Freightliner on the way somewhere in Utah! heh heh heh Course, it would about take a Freightliner to put her down-the 'Cats are that tough. Besides, if I drive down, that means I can bring my guns....... hummmmmm..... Let me think about that a minute-Arctic Cats-Dakota's 'Cat, Texas 'Cat, Cowboy's 'Cat all lined up, tons of guns all cocked locked and ready to rock, I imagine a cooler full of beer for the end of the days festivities-somehow I smell a REAL down home rip roarin gun slingin mud flingin good ol country boy saturday night! As Chris LeDoux would say-It just makes you feel alright.
Man, I hope I can get a job here pretty soon, start saving my pennies. I told Trailboss450 a while back that was one thing I REALLY want to do-take a trip across the states, four wheeling in each of the hot spots along the way. Soon as I get a good stable job, I'll really start saving up for that trip.
Oh hey, if TexasCat is lurking around here somewhere, let him know his little phrases and sayings are A-OK with me, keep 'em coming, I love them! -he asked in another post somewhere if anybody was offended by them, I say hell no, just bring it! We need some good old country boy "flavor" like that in here, keeps it real, ya know! Anybody out there listen to good ol C.W. McCall? That gal was built like a burlap sack full of bobcats, she has got it TOOgether! At the old home filler up and keep on truckin cafe-a looking for Mavis...
Best of Luck and Happy Trails from yer other bald headed pistol packin redneck cowboy up north,
Mike

Bald headed pistol packing redneck,
It's ok if you bring your cat too. it is kinda like my dogs, if I take one in the car the other two will tear the house apart while I'm gone so that I have to take them too next time. There could be some serious fun involved if you came down here. Texascat and His nephew, Duey, could come along and we could do some damage. I'll have to get Texascat to start drinking beer again! Hes lost like 30-40 pounds! he could still whoop my a$$, don't get me wrong. Welcome to the word of trying to find a professional job. Laters gator.

cowboy,
if we could get you down here to texas, the great state of texas would definitely be more so. you're right about the arms and ammunition. hell we would make so damn much noise that dakotart's neighbors would think we treed osama bin laden and were perforatin' his sheep *******' *** with a $hitload of hot lead. personally i'd stick one of my high-powered firecrackers up his *** and make him sing God Bless America 'til his guts splattered all over the drop cloth he was standing on ('cause we don't want to curse dakotart's land). then, of course, we wouldn't bury the sob b/c the buzzards and coyotes gotta eat too. anyway, make a plan because i'm always ready to ride, shoot, get crazy, and drink 'til my heart's and gut's content. by the way, i have been workin' out and i have lost some weight but i haven't lost my tolerance for alcohol.
dakotart,
that's probably true, i could whoop your ***, but why?? i'd lose a friend that i would have never gained if i hadn't bought an arctic cat. what would have happened if i got a yamaha, honda, or a polaris--perish the thought, i'm fixin' to puke. when we goin' to edna?? my finger's itchy. the fayette county gun club is having its grand opening on october 6. there will be plenty of food, festivities, and fireams. we have trap, skeet, country doubles, a 10, 20, and 50 yard pistol range, an archery range, and a 100-300 yd rifle range. in the future, we plan to build a 1000 yd rifle range and maybe factor in a paintball course. you are welcome to attend everything is free and it starts at 9:00 am saturday.

TexasCat-
If money were no object, I'd load up now, head out first thing in the morning! Unfortunately, I'm broke. So, soon as I find a job, I'll start saving away for the trip, I think it would be a blast! no pun intended.
BTW-I like your plan there-the drop cloth is an especially good idea-would hate to taint Dakotart's land! Glad to hear about the new workout-sounds like it's going great for ya, good man-that's hard to do. I find the hardest part is actually getting up and driving to the weight room. Once I'm there, it's no problem to lift, but getting there is the difficult part. As for the alcohol bit-unfortunately (or not???) I've lost most of my tolerance-pretty pathetic now really. Think I had about 8 beers one night with GrizRick, was feeling pretty good-that's down right embarrassing condisering what I used to handle! Must be the post-college blues or something. Back in the day, it would take a case to get primed, then head to the bars for a few more and an enjoybable evening. Guess I'm just getting old or something.
Anyway, definately look forward to the trip, just have to either win the lottery or get some cash saved up somehow, then I'll be on my way!
Best of Luck,
Mike
