I know this has been discussed before, but I'm looking for directions (if there are any) to be able to lock the front diff on a 250 4x4 in similar fashion as the King Quad. I'm assuming the front diff are exactly the same. Any input would be helpful.

The 02 differentials are not the same, but the 2001s and older diffs are. Which do you have?

Well, you can loose the 2wd option and use just limited slip 4wd and locker by putting it in the 4wd postion and removing the screw that holds the lever on the front diff. Then rotate the lever till the push pull handle is in the 2wd position and tighten it down. it should give you 4wd and locker. If not, play with the adjustments.

You can also try to find a perfect spline that will allow all 3 positions, or just lenghten the rod that goes to the front diff from the handle.
