Has any one out there put on the handle bar type warmers? The type that go inside the handle bar. Do you need to drill a hole in the lower part of the bar for the wires? If you do, I'm a little worried about weakening the bars. The grip type seem a bit hard and slippery. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Later

 

I haven't tried the ones that go inside the handle bars. I don't think you have to drill a hole. You slide them up from the bar ends and then the wire lead goes under your grips.
The hot grips brand (which is what I have on my AC); I don't like the grips they are too hard for me. I like softer grips to help absorb some of the vibration.
Rocky Mountain ATV Sells a brand that wraps around the outside of the bars and you can slide your own choice of grips over them. They are only $20. People that have these seem to like them and haven't had any problems. I think this is the type that I am going to go with for my trailblazer.

 

I installed the cartridge style that go inside the bars. You have to drill a hole at the base of the bars, but it keeps the wiring out of sight and harms way. They work great but are a little slow to heat up [10 mins] the upside is they take a while to cool off.
