I have a warn winch that is giving me some problems. Some times it works other times it wont. Like Ill try it and it wont activate. Ride for a while or the next day try it and it works. All connections and ground are good. This happened last year same way and I took it to the dealer and they said it was a bad solenoid and replaced it. Does that sound right?. If so where is the winch solenoid located and where would I get one. Let me know If anyone has had the same problem.
THANKS SLY

That's exactly what a bad solinoid does. Your dealer probably replaced your bad one with another one from the same batch. There were a lot of faulty solinoids that came from warn's supplier.

Actually, warn is having a recall on the solenoids provided by White-Rodgers. These were on the A2000 ATV winches. Visit warn.com for all the details.
