Hey Jeff, nope I've got a manual. That was one of my biggest things I wanted along with a bigger engine (bigger not biggest). I'm not aware of another manufacturer giving the manual option in a 500c ATV. It's quite fun having a bigger engine, and having control of the shift points and THUS the rpms the engine is in.

The only other 500 class ATV that I can think of that still has a manual transmission is the Bombardier Traxter... however to the best of my knowledge this is an electric shift setup similar to what Honda has on many of its machines. It's a shame they're all going auto... I'm glad I will have the money to buy a quality manual 500 in time before they become extinct!!! Nothing against auto bikes, I'm just sad to see the option gone.

IceCat & Rides4Fun, I agree with you both. I like being able to shift and seems there's not many of us that share that idea. It's a good work out on the trail, mentally and physically. It maybe that many of the people that own this equipment would much rather have it available for farming, or working around the home. So, automatic tranny machines are much easier to run. It's a preference, for the individual.
