Anyone have trouble with the idle setting on their 500. Mine stalled a few times at idle so i adjusted it up just about all the way, when warmed 10minutes, to get it to keep running. I went out to my car about 75 ft away a heard the bike begin to rev up all of sudden. is this common; constsntly tuning the idle. I only have 7 miles on it so far.

Sound like your jetting needs to be adjusted. take it back to the dealer and have them do it while it is under warranty.

I had the same problem, I may still have the problem. I had to adjust my idle settings all the time too for the first 100 miles or so. It seems to be working fine now though. I'll see this weekend when I go for another ride.

Thanks, I'll get some dealer attention when I take it in for its first fluids change, after 10-20 hrs unless it gets worse in the interm.
