Is there a way to adjust the front shocks on the KOD to make it corner better? It realy sucks in the fast WO corners. I noticed when the wheel goes through its travel the tops of the tires tip out, this is probably why.?

Rincon, are you still running the stock tires? If so that is some of the problem. The stockers ride good but the 2ply rating lets the sidewalls flex more than it should. My P650 is notorious for this. For normal riding I like the shocks set at the lowest setting. Like the above post, I use a small pipe wrench that works pretty good.

No, i'm not running the stocker on the front. I sliced a front tire and it couldn't be fixed, but i bought 2 tires that are the same as the '02 and up 450 Honda's. They were only $50 a tire (cdn) and they seem to steer realy good. Right now there is about 2+ feet of snow down so i can't realy tell if it's steering better. In the summer if it steers the same i'll try to adjust the shocks. (you just twist the jagged looking collar, right?

Thats right. Turn that ring underneath the black springs. Its best t to find a wrench, but like I said, a small pipe wrench works good. If you do use the pipe wrench be sure and still turn it at the notched ring near the springs.

The shocks are hard to adjust. I jacked it up so that all 4 wheels were off of the ground, used an extension (a tool from my Gold Wing tool kit) on the spanner wrench, and sprayed the shock adjuster with WD-40. I wanted to see if the adjustment would help with the side to side sway. It did, but it made the ride stiffer. I may adjust it to the highest setting just to see what it feels like, but after it is all said and done, I will probably set it back to the softest setting.
