IowaBob,
I'm 99% sure that the dealer cost is what he sold it to you for. I just had picked up my 500i auto and I paid $6,050.00 for mine which is the best price I could find here in the Northeastern states. Heck I was getting prices of $6,200.00 for 500i manuals (still not a bad price for a quality machine like the AC's)My dealer is straight forward with me(This is the second AC I've bought from him)he said he needed to make $400.00 on it and I thought that was fair.I think your dealer realized what a truckload of S--T he would have gottin himself into if he didn't make things right by you! Anyway, I know you ended up with a better machine which i'm sure you'll soon find for yourself. Enjoy!

Glad you had a happy ending! I think you made the right decision and $5600 for 500i is a great deal. I have found Prairies and Grizzlys in Chicago for 6350 and 6200 respectively!

Hope you enjoy your new quad !

Hey dude , congrats , Im sorry you have had such a time , But it all worked out to the better , I had bad times with dealers , They can be really bad , I got a good one now, I try to over look somethings , But sometimes you can't, thats a great quad , and price , I got a 400i , my dealer didn't tell me about I was required to have insurance on my loan , till I done signed papers , was going out to load the quad ,I nearly stopped right there but I had waited for 6 months on my quad and insurance ani't a bad thing , wasn't that high either , It was the prinpal behind it, I got by it , thats the only thing he's done , I felt this should been discussed before we did the paper work, , Its the 5 quad i've bought and frist to require insurance , 3 with that lending company ,But Im by it now , Have FUN ON THAT i MODEL , enjoy yourself you did good , HAPPY TRAILS , CHUNKY

Iowa Bob,
Congrats on your purchase, I think everything worked out well in the end. That is a great price, you did good. I hope you find another dealer you feel comfortable with for service, accessories, etc., that's important.
Remember to read your manual in regards to breaking in the engine properly, and burnishing the brakes, everything should be spelled out pretty well.
Enjoy your new purchase, it's a lot of fun

IowaBob, what a frustrating story, but you got a good deal on the 02. Glad it all turned out good.

$5600 is actually less than dealer cost BEFORE shipping. Then that doesn't include the cost in uncrating the ATV and preping it for you (aka filling and charging battery). So, I can ashure you that he really lost money on that one.

Good job! Sometimes you need to get a little wild to make yourself understood. At least the dealer didn't try to pull any $hit. What a step up... 500i, I'm jealous!
