Can someone here help me find the spark plug on my quad? I don't know exactly where it is and need to some help. I need to check to make sure the plug is working the way it should. Thanks for the help.

bbertram,

It's on the left side in front of the carb. Put your hand at about the middle of the gas tank, then reach underneath the side plastic. It's easier getting a socket on it if you take the side plastic loose. It goes in pointing upward at about a 45 degree angle. That's about the best way I can explain it without a picture, hope it helps.

It is on the shifter side, on the side of the cylinder, right behind a coolant hose. You will kick your self once you find it, I had to show my father inlaw just in the last couple of weeks. I would think the owners manual would have a diagram if not a picture. I don't remove any plastic when I pull a plug, but it mwould probably make it easier. Good luck.

Well, I found the spark plug. That thing is hidden very well, thats probably a good thing actually. I'm having a problem taking off the spark plug cap. How do you get that sucker off !! Do you twist and pull or just pull it off? Thanks everyone.
