I have a 500 man. and I'm getting a warn 2500. Not really worried about the electrical. Have done a search on here and with 20+ years being an electrician, should be no problem. Here is the questions I have.Will a 400 mount Kit work on a 500, if so I can get one of these real cheap?If GEARBEAR reads this I would like to ask where he got his or if he made it.I'm sure I can build the mount but not having bought the winch I'm not even sure how it bolts up yet. It looks like you unbolt the grill and bolt it in there. Is there any U-bolts or J-bolts that help attach it to the front grill? Is there a bracket that attaché’s the front bumper assy. to the frame, for more sturdiness.If anyone has built one and has any information or pictures they could share it would be muchly appreciated.Thanks ShaneNow I wonder how many times I will re-read this and edit it?

I believe the winch mount is universal for all 02 AC's. Just remove the 4 corner bolts on the front grill and the winch mount plate fits right in with the 4 screws.

Cummins, I would suggest to get the Warn mount. I got mine from a local dealer for $50 and the roller fairlead is only $38 more. You could also order one from www.atvoutfitters.com for $80. I wouldn't suggest making one, since it won't provide the same strength.

The 2002 winch mount will not work with the earlier models, but the 2001 mounts will work with any year model and size ATV from the 96 454 to the 2001 250. The only difference is that the 250 and 300 kits come with added supports to strenghten the area up.
