New Cat Owmer
#1
Howdy Folks. I purchased a new AC 375 Automatic about two weeks ago. It goes way beyond my expectations. I aquired it mainly for work around the farm as its far more convient than the tractor for those smaller jobs. I'd also be lying if I didn't say I'd bought it to play with (you know all work and no play...) The comments and over all good feed back in this fourm really help me decide on the cat. Thanks to all you owners. One quick question. Does anyone run synthetic oil? Good or bad idea. Thanks Al

I run 100% synthetic oil in my cat and all my other quads in the past, never a hint of a problem. It might be a problem if you run the quad like a mad man for 10 years or something because automotive oil lacks some additives or something or another for the wet clutch. Good luck on your new quad, your not going to need it. The cat will take care of you.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Cat ownership. So far I'm more than happy with the 375; it definitely shows that a mid-sized ATV goes everywhere bigger machines can. As for the oil question I posted "OIL?" on the forum and did a little searching and found an article comparing Auto oil to motorcycle oil. Personally I've decide to run Castrol 10-40 GTX, since I've found no solid evidence that motorcycle oil provides better protection. Happy riding.
