Filthyhabit is an awesome name for you!!! I have to laugh any time I see a Polaris owner disappointed with ANY other make of quad. You bash the instrument panel on the Cat!! Let me ask you, where is your GAS GAGE buddy??????? Oh ya, that’s right, Polaris don’t have one!!! And a pull start on the 700, ya that would have been a bad idea!! Polaris puts out an new quad and let the people buying them report the problems. The 700 has already proven to be a total disaster!! I have a friend that has a 500 HO. 300 miles blows his first belt, my Honda towed him out the woods 17kms. And many more stories I don’t care to educate you on, just read your our forum and see for yourself. My point is here, if you are going to open up your mouth about disappointments, start with your own choice in a quad, everyone reading this knows the long disappointing history of the Polaris lineup. I don’t visit the Polaris site to bash, so don’t visit this one to BASH!!!!!!!

King4x4, I'm Happy For Ya! Thank You for informing us of your love for Polaris. I've rode with many A polaris (atv and snowmobile) they just have not ever so in the least impressed me with there machines. Besides I thought that this thread was supposed to be about the AC 2003 line up and not how much the other brands are loved and adored.

My take on it is...If you like what you see, test it and buy it. If you don't like it then stay with what you have and ride another year on it. You can not please everyone...that is the bottom line. AC is only getting better. If you start making radical changes in your line-up you are asking for trouble. As for more electronics, forget about that crap. Just give me a solid reliable wheeler!! I am not opposed to the locker by the way! I will stay with my 2000 autocat until I see a machine that is WAY better.

This topic has really turned sour.

I don't think that anyone here said that the Arctic Cats are bad machines. I think the whole point was to say how some people are dissapointed that arctic cat didn't really offer the 4x4 crowd anything new or even improve on any existing models. For example, the 2002 500i is an awesome machine. But why didn't arctic cat add diff lock or digital dash to the 2003's? Same basic machine, just upgraded.

I'm a little dissapointed in Arctic Cat also, I think there machine quality is second to none. I bought the 660 Grizzly but would trade back to an Arctic Cat in a second if they would do the 650 engine thing and a locker. I really like my Grizz...but I like the fit and finish of the Arctic Cats better.

But then again who knows?....the years not over yet and Arctic Cat mite not be done yet either.

I agree thats what Ive been saying the whole time all they did was recycle last years machines and in this very competitive market ya have to do more I think they are great machines but they arent keeping up with the features people want Im sure they will add these things but its taking them to long and they are losing sales I want to switch to cat but first they have to build the right machine for me Im not gonna buy a wheeler just because it says arctic cat on it

Ya! I would love to hear this. And don't say anything that the Cat has, but is electronically controlled on the Polaris. You can stick that electronic crap up your @$$.
