On my 98 500 sometimes i have to pump the brakes to get some pressure built up but other times the brakes work great. THe lines have been bleeded and are in great shape. Any of you guys experience this? Could it be the MC?

Yes it the O rings in your MC, I don't think they make repair kit for it. you might have to buy a mew MC, they are about $100.00 to $150.00....

Yes, I had the same problem with mine. Took it to the dealer twice, first time they basically blamed it on me for the air in the lines.

Second time they did some sort of junky overhaul on the MC. Neither worked.

So if somebody tells you how to overhaul your MC (especially Cattrax) I wouldn't recomend doing it. You will need those brakes when you are out there and there are times where you can't pump fast enough.

I had mine replaced by another dealer and it has worked fine ever since. But the MC's are definitly junk!!!
