A good price?

Thats a great deal for either one. IF I were you I'd jump on it.
Differences between the 99 and the 2000.
99 models have 26-10.5-12 inch tires,2000 models have 25-10-12 inch tires. If you don't mind the harder steering the 26 are better in the mud and have better ground clearance.
2000 models have a way better fuel shut off valve location, it's on the side panel, the 99's valve is under the gas tank.
I don't think there are any other differences but I would awsk the dealer aand see what he says.

If anyone can find $500 worth of difference between a 99 and a 2000 manual shift AC 500, then they have better eyesight than me. Number one, the graphics on the 2000 models are lame looking compared to 98 & 99 models. I'll also take the 495 titan 26"ers for a cheaper price as well. I don't normally worry about hitting the track with a 645 lb. 4x4 anyway, so the heavier steering isn't that bad. I bitched about mine for a while, but wouldn't trade the clearance and traction. That is the best price I have seen on a 99 500 yet. If you want it, then get it, cause nobody will beat that deal.
