Does anybody know if the 500 AC can be modified to
shift into 2wd like the 500 automatic?

When my 2-year warranty goes out I will try to adapt the 300 4x4's or the 500's front diff to fit my quad.

That would be the ultimate, 2wd,4wd,4w lock. I'd be happy with 2wd 4wd option. A buddy of mine has a shop manual on the 500 quadrunner and without buying a shop manual on the quadmaster were trying to figure out where the shift occurs at.Is it at the diff? From what I"ve read I believe the shift to 2wd 4wd is mechanical not electrical. Does anybody have access to a shop manual on the ac auto or suki master?

double0griz,
The 2wd-4wd shift is mechanical at the differential on the AC. The shifter is located on the left front fender, there is a connecting rod that runs to the differential. It would be nice if they offered the selector on the manuals.
