Want to get some fedback on the 300i. Good machine for the money?? Those who have it what do you DISLIKE about it. Got some prices, all around $4999.00. 400i auto around the $5499.00(In CT) Promo is out for $69.00 get a 2500lb winch. Will be basically using it for tooling around in the yard and some trail riding. Not too many places to ride around here without getting snagged[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

ByBob; here is a list of Pros and Cons on the 300

Pros
1) Very good utility machine, will pull anything with the 3 sp. transmission. Lots of torque.
2) Very good ride, among the best in it's class due to IRS
3) Good brakes, single lever disc.
4) Very stable, long wheelbase offsets rear engine placement
5) Selectable 2 and 4 wheel drive
6) Good set of stock tires (Titan 489)

Cons:
1) Pre-2001 models had persistent stalling and backfiring problems
2) Heel-toe shifter is awkward, will not shift fast, but works well
3) Engine could be a bit bigger, not a fast ATV
4) No front locking differential
