I just changed my outboard CV Boots on my cat. I took a few photos of the procedures. If anyone is thinking of doing this and needs a little help or prodding let me know and I can email you some pics.

I will post them on my yahoo pics when I get a chance. It is a messy job, but pretty simple really. Also, there is an automobile boot that fits the AC, the boot is more heavy duty, the part # has been posted here before it is: p/n 10056K made by New Alloy. Just passing on info that I have received from others on this forum.

Volvoman,

The boot kits fit both the outboard and inboard. The OEM boot kit is about $30 and this auto boot kit is only around $10.

HEY BOOT STUDENT!!

I'm not sure about the '01s but there is a guy with a '99 Scram 400 that has used Napa P/N 2499SB---SB=Super Boot They are not an exact match, but they work so he says. The FACT= he used it. I will attest to only that.

****, Polaris has a tech site that you can go to. Maybe it will help you get that machine on the trail!! **** helper

Maybe someday you can change the ride to wrench ratio on that SCRAM!!
