Did Cat stop putting the 400 liquid cooled engine in their frames?
and if they did, why? I have a 2001 400 liquid cooled and i really do like it. Was thinking of getting a 400 auto for the wife.

yes the quit with the liquid cooled 371CC-they now use the 376cc
air/oil cooled w/fan.
don't know the why part.i have a 2002 400 4x4 it is liquid cooled.
just had some overheating problems-dealer doesn't know why.my dealer replaced the temp switch and told me to try it out for a while.

I was told that they stopped the liqiud cooled for production reasons. After I guess the 376 out sold the 400 they decided just to make the 376 and call it a 400. My source is not all that reliable but he is on top of his stuff most of the time.
