This afternoon after riding I noticed a puddle under the rear diff. Looking closer I found out it was oil from the rear diff . Looks like the seal on the gear case assembly (6-2 fig 0735-675 in the 02 service manual)that is under the slinger has gone bad. Anyone else have this problem? With only 436 miles and normal trail riding (no extreme mud play) this is a little premature . Hopefully the cat will still be under warranty (barely if so).

Talked to my dealer today and they have the seal in stock ($4) and can work my cat in. So by Friday I'll have my cat healthy again, not sure about my warranty still... Have you had any seal trouble since?
