Hi
I have had my 03 400i auto since Aug 3rd. it has 570 mile on it.
Top speed - gets up to 43 fast no problem, my top speed as I dare, up to 50mi with a little room to spare.
Sliding around corners not a problem.

Also I was out at a rally the other day and was with a group of about 10 people who where driving 600-700cc machines. Came to a big water/mud hole and watched as ATV after AVT where getting stuck. I saw a red ATV coming from the other side and pulling people out. At this point I wasn't going, oh ya my six year old daughter was with me, going
no daddy no daddy. As I was the only cat on the block someone said look that guy is driving a red cat, and all looked at me? Mine is red too [oh man]. There this big 7' guy standing beside me asking if I'm going, I said I have crappie tires he said you will make it, you have the ground clearance. I looked at my daughter and just sad get on the back. We went through not a problem. My daughter gave me a high five and said your the best dad. One of those times you don't have to say a word.

Good report! Did you find the machine a little down on power when it was new? If so, at what mileage did it seem to "wake up"? I love the clearance on mine......last weekend I towed two buddies with engines full of gunk out of a beaver dam without so much as a sputter out of mine.

Hi Everyone
To answer all your questions,
-It took about 100-200 before I noticed a difference in the performance.-The other guys said wow and started to look at the cat up and down.
I must say that before this all took place they where looking at it and picking things out they didn't like.
