i just bought my 300 about two weeks ago. i have 75 miles on it, mostly just trail riding. today, while rideing, the front right shock n spring mount broke lose. it shut me down nearly 10 miles from the truck. i'm really POed about it. i am going to the dealer with it. has anyone else had a similar problem?

 

I had a 98 400 2x4,just got rid of it today. The right rear shock on it did the same thing with about 150 miles on it luckly I was only about 2/10th of a mile in to my ride. that was only the being of my wows with my cat.

i had a very good visit with my dealer today. the broken suport was replaced without question. i also bought the extended warranty. he said he had never seen this failure before.?? i'm no sucker, but i feel much better than yesterday. guess i'll let this slide as a freak, and give AC another chance. there is still hope that she'll live up to my expectations.
