I just got a used 300 4x4. Front end gear box is messed up I think. Pulled the drain plug from the bottom left, nothing came out. Where and how much gear lube do I put in? Can find a plug to put it in, need help.

Front diff capacity is 175 ml (5.8 fl oz).

Fill it with SAE 80W-90 hypoid gear oil.

The filler plug is located on the right side of the front diff, just in front of the drive shaft. On my 02 300 4x4 the plug is black in color.

BTW, did you check the bottom of the seat (lift seat up, there is a "slit" underneath, towards the back), you might just find the operator's manual there. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
