Default Plow?

Chance- Did you buy your plow from Cabelas? If so did you need to get that mounting plate seperatly? Or did it come with everything (plow, push frame, and mounting plate)?

Cabelas sells the warn plow. And it is sold as a kit. It's like $350 and comes with the mounts. This plow is the same plow that I own. I believe CMP is the manufacturer. You just need to specify which machine you own. Mount it up and have some fun!

The Warn plow kit comes with everything for $299 for the 48" setup, it took me about 3 hours total to assemble, the instructions are pretty clear ( if you get one email me and I will send you some helpful hints based on my install). One thing to note is that the Cabelas computer will only show applications up to 2002, the kit for the '03s are the same, you can go to warn's website and verfify the number. The warn unit comes with a wear bar. If you want a multi-purpose unit I would recommend one of these over the A/C unit.

I did not order mine from the web, I live within 20 miles of a store, however I did talk to thier customer support to ensure that the items were in stock. Basically if you click on the plow kit you want, you will be prompted to call customer support to verify what ATV you have. The kit price includes the atv installation kit. You will need installation kit # 63294 for your 400, this is a warn part number, as I stated earlier, as of a few weeks ago the cabelas computer did not show applications for '03, but if you go to warn's website you will see that the '02 and 03' part numbers are the same. If you get one email me and I will work up some instructions to supplement the kit's instuctions. Figure about 2 to 3 hours for installation and assembly, just basic hand tools but you will need the torx driver from the A/C tool kit to remove the skid plates. The package will come in two boxes, one box contains the plow and pushframe the other box will be the adaptor kit. The push frame is made from tubing, as long as you are mounting to a winch everything will be included.
