thanks to all for the info. on how to lock the front end on my 300 4x4. Its awesome! Also,... How does the GBC Gators compare to the Titan 589 M/S ? I've narrowed my search for mud tires down to these two choices. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've had both 589s MTs and ATs as well as Gators. I like the Gators much better the advantages to the Gators are better ride they air down nice and the side wall will flex better. The tread wraps around the side wall a little more than the 589, so it crawls out of ruts easier. They are a little lighter and wider, they are closer to the listed height than the 589s. Usually cheaper than most other tires, last just as long too. This is all from someone who has had both, I have pictures of both posted in my photo page. We also had the Gators 26x10 rear and 25x8 front on our 250 4x4 Cat with modified front end. This was a great setup since it was a little lighter it would go just about anywhere.

 

I havent put Gators on my ATVs yet, but get a load of this, I put them on my 35 year old Cub Cadet garden trator. I think its a redneck thing. They do tear up the yard a littel, but damm,I sure look good doing it. My wife thinks Im nuts. MORE POWER.
