Took the AC for a swim and she sunk

I think you have to run 28X12.50's on all 4 corners to get serious floatation on a big bike. I watched Scuba Steve on a Honda 300 go out into a river (20ft deep) go upstream a little bit and come back. I don't remember what tires he had but it was wild. I wish I would have had a cam corder. We figured out real quick why his buddies called him Scuba Steve.
I also saw a Polaris Exp. and Honda 450 float across the duck pond at Fun Wheeler. That's when I started to believe "wheelers can swim".

All you cat guys may need all the tires you can buy to get enough floatation because cats are some of the heaviest quads on the market. My 250 4x4 weighs in at 575,my dads 500 act4x4 at 650.Most other brands are conciderably lighter.

Smoke, I felt the same way you do about the titans. For my riding conditions, the 489 AT's worked great. I was really pleased with them. When it came time to get new tires, I was going to get those again. Then I found the new Titan 489 XT's. These tires rock! Even better than the AT and they are a lot stronger (6 ply) If you liked the 489 AT, you will love the 489 XT. Plus, they are the same price. I highly reccomend them.
