My 2001 500 auto has developed a problem whereby it won't stay in 4 wheel drive unless you physically push on the selector handle. It isn't a linkage problem and I'm sure that something must be busted inside or a gear worn out. I've never been inside the front end end of this bike and am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what I might expect to find when I do tear it down. Is this a common problem?
