Talked to Gorilla axle today
#1
I called Gorilla axle today to see if they had axles for the Arctic Cats yet and he said "do you have an 03' 500i"? I told him yes and he said they were getting alot of calls for that particular model. Anyway you have to send in your stock axles to him so they can use the splines off of them. $350 each, 1 week turnaround.
I'm going to ride and see if mine breaks without the lift kit. If they do I will just send them to him and get a set of Gor's.
Oh, yeah, he said he needs all the pieces if you break one so he can see where they are breaking and make sure the new parts are stronger in those areas. He seemed like a good guy.

Sorry I didn't explain.
$350 is for each side (entire axle) this includes upper and lower CV's and shaft all together. You would need one for the left and one for the right.
Gorax--said they replace the CV's with chrome moly (super hard) parts including the inners. The replace the half shafts (the shaft from CV to CV) with a bigger stronger piece. I think there is also a 3 yr warranty. If you break it you send it to them and they send you the new or repaired one. Only costs you shipping.
Hard to beat in my book
They are also doing alot of business for Polaris 700 Twins.

A FIS (Four wheel Independent Suspension) has a total of 8 Cv's.
Rear-4 CV's (2 per side)
Front -4 CV's (2per side)
4 half shafts total front and rear.
You have a inner and outer CV with each axle. There are 4 axles on the wheeler.

I just read your post again. I think you were asking aren't there 4 total axles on the wheeler?
If that was the question, yes. I was just going to order Gorax's for the rear because that seems to be the only ones breaking. The front seems to be OK.

Ok thanks for the clarification, i was on the micro fiche and couldnt find the parts there? heh Nor for my front end. Thats what i meant, 4x 350 to do the machine. But i havent heard of the front breaking either. Wasnt really dissing the warranty either, its better than the dealer im sure. (which would likely be none) On their www it said they went from lifetime to 1 year to pass the saving to the customer hehe.
