I put my cat in low range to pull out my buddy that was in some mud and it would not go back in high range it just made a clicking sound, i had to trun it off befor it would go back in high range. is this ok, does this happen on cats a lot?

Mine did that a couple of times on the first ride. I sprayed wd-40 under the handle that you pull up and down an worked it back and forth a few times and it stopped doing it.

Mine still does this almost everytime I switch ranges. I just rock back and forth a little and it kicks in. I think it's pretty normal.

Try moving the lever all the way to neutral then put it back into high. This works good for me.
