Its not a wonder you guys with the 28s tear stuff up (cvs and such) lol. These arent even close to vampires or outlaws but they are bigger hehe. 27" I wonder how soon into the spring before i break something, hehe.

Hehe thx for the replys. It will be fun until the poor ole cat croaks!!! I may be able to get a good run in this weekend. The tires are getting mounted on the rims as we speak. No one here in town will sandblast the rims and metal parts i wanted done for a reasonable price. So im going to run these rims untill they are toast. Then buy some of the steel ITPs.

Well I didnt get to go out as long as i wanted. But these tires make a new bike. Not to much power loss, but a little. Not enough to cry over. Didnt hear any new "noises" from the cvs, or rearend. I can crawl up things i never could before, and when in a deep rut, in a hole i like that i can turn the wheels and come out of the rut. Impossible before. Thanks to thekod !

New Shoes.

so vewdew hows the new gators working out. i just thought id give you a tip i just figured out, if you spin them a lot on hard pack roads thay start to round out the paddles in the middle. i learned this the other night when i was doing doughnuts on this logging we where rideing, at the end of the day after i loaded it into my truck i was looking at the tires and notist thay had started to round off in the middle. so from now on when im on those roads im gonna take it easy and save the doughnuts for the soft stuff.

Cool thx mudblaster. Ya i dont rip er up to much like that anymore, the ole 98 needs to last a bit. Wife is pist now all the work i do on it. I got a deal on them used actually. Saved me 300 dollars. The used ones were in very good condition with no uneven wear. Still 1" lugz on them. Im happy. Its like a new bike for sure. Maybe next time i can get some new ones, but before the tires wear out i think the cat will be :]
