An arcticcat is nothing more than a better eng, better planned, daddy to the lill 'Zuki... But the 'Zuki power ties it all together, and what power it is.
Oh and somthing else the guy on ATV television has his choice of most of all the quads, Three diffrent company even sponsor him, HONDA, POLARIS, AND KAWI but guess what you see him on durring most all of his trips??????
A red 2000 ArcticCat 500, 'Cat doesn't even sponsor the show, now that shows how much better the 'Cats are....

Hey TXDOC, Fourlix here, My e-mail is alex@gilanet.com I would still like to see that article. But I must admit that I put my AutoCat on the block. For sale that is, back at the dealer, on consignment, after only 102 miles. I just couldn't live with the body roll and understeer (push) in the corners. Plus it almost bucked me off real bad on a straight, angled road with a ditch at the bottom edge. Yeah I was going pretty fast, and the body roll sucked me down into the ditch and all holy hell broke loose as I tried to hold on and not wreck. I didn't. But I rode a Sportsman the same day. I now have one. It is the greatest. It handles better, rides just a little smoother, is about the same quickness but faster (60 mph). The Independant Rear Suspension is truly a work of art. The AutoCat needs an anti-roll bar like the Sportsman has. I talked to the dealer who talked to the factory-and they couldn't do a thing for me. I just didn't want another project, I want to ride.
So I got out of the Autocat while I could, and moved over to the SP. I have two other Polarises and I really do like the way they handle. They are more oversteer than understeer, meaning a little tweak of the handlebars with a little body english and a little gas and, viola! there's your turn. The Autocat required huge amounts of handlebar movement to make it turn, always feeling like the front tires weren't grabbing untill they were really cranked over. Even in 2wd. So .. sorry to desert... I think you guys over here in ArcticCat land are pretty cool. Geez, have you been over to Hondaland? Those guys seem to have a Sigmoidscope stuck.
So I'll go hang out with the Polaris guys, they're pretty cool, but they get picked on a lot, especially by Honda guys breaking ranks.
Thanks for fun. Silly Later, Fourlix

Danny Boy:
Was kind of wondering how this topic came up again, then found the posts and why they are back. I'm just curious now to know your actual age and maturity level. You come over here spouting off all this garbage, putting down AC's in general, then making personal comments about one of our fellow boys. What's the deal here eh? You know something we don't? For that matter, do you even own an atv of any kind? By the sounds of things you're just some punk 13 year old, angry at the world and desperately in need of an attitude adjustment.

Please, next time you find the need to visit this forum, do so with respect to others. Think before you speak, and if you can't say something nice, or helpful, do us all a favor and shut the heck up.

To the others on this forum:
Sorry to offend any of you, I just have no tolerance for this kind of behavior.

BigCat:
Thanks man, sorry if I offended anybody, probably should have kept my mouth shut, but something that bad couldn't be left alone.
